Aloha and that was hard to choose a favorite song? Hey this is Norm's aunty, just saw you last nite at Huki's San Jose and our band played before you came on...loved the music and the new cd releases even though you didn't play them all because of the crowd mood, had to keep the tempo goin yeah? Can you tell me why you did this cd with Hawaiian lyrics and style, I thought it was great BUT I feel contemporary is more you. I love the hawaiian stuff too, it has been a door opener for me as far as gettin into the music scene here in the bay area but I am such a pop rock, ballad and rock n roll girl my self, love the english lyrics so that you can relate more to a bigger audience. I went to see Hapa 2 weeks ago in the San Fran area and Nathan Aweau was great, seen Barry many times and he is the bomb as well, along with Eric Guilliom, Amy's brother. I heard that Bruddah Norm is doin well in Alaska(crazy i tell you)and still trying to do the his thing there. Steve and I are working on our first cd, (hallelujah mary and jesus)after leaving Kaehukai Band 18 months ago and having fun with our style and NO Stress..hehehe..you take care and it was so good to see Makena and of course feel her beauty and wamrth which I am sure you have alot to do with, glad you both are still in school and she is still one of the most beautiful dancers I have seen in my lifetime and I am old you know! Eh I chose that song "When Can I see you Again" along with a few others that come to my mind, my son the football player would always before his games at the JC and Boise State listen to his hawaiian jams cd and a few of your songs made him all mellow and relaxed before goin out and nailing everybody on the field, he was a middle linebacker, so I get homesick and miss him when I hear your mele's.
