Today is June 13, 2001 and my name is Lindsay. I'm 18 and I live in Richmond, Virginia. I saw you sing last night on BET, which comes on Channel 30 at 10pm where I live. That was my first time ever hearing your sound. Both my sister and I were shocked by how good you were. We both were like,"Whaaaatttt, who is he?" We hadn't heard of but one singer from Hawaii. And you were so cute too! So props to you for REPRESENTING ya Hometown! I would love to be doing what you are doing now, because I have a strong love for making music. I have and continue to write many songs myself. I've composed many songs on the keyboard. I only play by ear but am learning to read sheet music. I'm in a group called with 5 other teenage girls Abstrakt. We sing Pop/R&B and dance. The most recent song I wrote and composed for us to sing is called, "The Greatest Part of My Life." Anyways, enough about me. What I appreciated most about your performance on BET was your voice. It's different and that's good. A little like Ron Isley from the Isley Brothers and Babyface. Your range is awesome and you kinda sound like you could be the frontman of a rock band if you wanted. But your feel on BET in "Sip Your Wine" was more of a Rhythmn & Blues sound.
